Hi,

Can you please allow the TV3 Blaster Plugin to be compatible with MP2. All of the setup screens work, the "Test" button works, but it does not get called when changing channels through the MP2 Client.

I am using it to call an Executable on Pre-Select for a Hauppauge Colossus card, but it never gets called via MP2 channel change.

For whatsoever reasons, this topic is ignored.
The non-function of the blaster plugin keeps me from even trying to work with MP2.
Many of us "overseas people" depend on a possibility to blast commands to a STB due to a lack of SAT-PC cards.

    Side remark:
Important: in 2.1pre2 you can directly change the log level inside MP2-Client settings.
The Wiki text is up to date. The picture is still showing the previous text but the menu entry in 2.1pre2 is not making reference to "Client" anymore.

I'm back on this supject as really want to use MediaPortal 2. Can we please have a working TVServer Blaster plugin so I can blast channel changes to my Cable box.

Question is - does IRSS support the TV3 Blaster? Installing the software doesn't install the TVServer Blaster plugin.

If I manually copy the TV3BlasterPlugin.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service3\Plugins, when activating the configuration TV Server configuration, I get :

Further to the above - I installed Mediaportal1.17, and I can now configure TV3Blaster in MediaPortal 2.

However, the TV Server log for Mediaportal2 has no reference to the installed plugin, but Mediaportal 1.17 does:

    Hi all,

As this obviously isn't being looked at, I made one myself. :)
Basically calls an external program (in my case a powershell script) that sends the channel number as an argument.
The powershell script sends TCP commands to winlirc and also checks winlirc is running and can connect to the IR blaster. Works flawlessly.
