tvcard priority (1 Viewer)

How could i change the tvcard priority?

I have 3 entries in the tvserver:
Priority 3 -- KNC BDA DVB-C
Priority 2 -- Cinergy 1200 DVB-C
Priority 1 -- Radio Webstream

1 means lowest priority.

When i start timeshift the tvserver starts timeshifting on card with priority 2...
Why? It should start with 3...

The Cinergy is a little bit buggy and should only start when no free card is available.

Idea: check first if your prio 1 card is really works in MP.

This is my problem!

The first card "Cinergy 1200 DVB-C" has sometimes an error after wake up from standby!
Error 1 often) Unable to start graph ...
Error 2 sometime) The card is not detected --> N/A is showing in the manual control of tv server!
After stop and start from the tvservice it works again.

Second card "KNC ONE DVB-C" works always with no error!

I have at the moment not much time to resolve this error.
Workaround --> Make KNC ONE to the frist card but how could i change the prio?

hi chris.....

i had the same problems with the terratec cards.

due to some changes of my cable provider i bought a second knc one card and replaced both of the terratec cards. now its working. seems like the terratec cards still have problems with standby......even when restarting the pc after resume. you can try to change the pci slot.....this helped a little in my system......but finally i am happy i changed to knc one completely

Thanks, but i solved it in another way.
At the TV Server Configuration there is an option to wait xx seconds before detecting cards.
I set it to 5 seconds and the problem is gone.

So i think that the Terratec card needs longer to initialize.
