Your logs show heaps of DX9 (directX) errors.. are you using the latest video driver for you internal intel chipset?

Yup, i am using firedtv/s bda 4.8.0.0 which comes with the 4.5.N latest download from digital anywhere. I am also using the latest firmware. Using the firedtv viewer everything works ok, its just MP TVE that has the issue.

Yup, i am using the latest everything, latest vista fixes, mp, bda blah blah .. i dont think it a direct x issue as when i plug in my happauge usb stick and configure it then it works fine with MP and TVE no problems, its just the firedtv/s on 28.2E uk sky ..

Thanks both for your input, i am going to see if the digital anywhere bods can help .. maybe its a piece of code that just does not show or they have coded in a work around for with firedtv viewer ..

I really want to be running some tracing or debugging so that we can understand why the pmt is not returned .. is there a debug version of the code ? or a tracing flag i need to switch on to up the debug/tracing level in the logs ?

not to worry, I have put my firedtv on ebay .. and gonna get an S2

Just ordered a FireDTV/S2 and a new laptop .. hopefully .. it will all fire into life
