How to enable DVB-S2 Channelscan with Pinnacle?

Hi,

i have an PCTV Sat HDTV Pro USB (PCTV452e). TVE3 dont find HD-Channels (modnotset="nosignal"). How to enable 8psk? Tuningparameters (Astra: 67=12581,V,22000,23,S2) dont work.

last SVN-Build with working HD-Channelscan from end of May 2007 (Rev14779)

Analog is back to working, sort of:

The first time I fired it up it worked. Unfortunately, the Audio lag after channel change is still there - press channel up, for example, there is a pause, the picture changes to the next channel, but the Audio from the old channel comes back for a split-second, then it switches to the new channel Audio, but it is a bit delayed. Then with every subsequent channel change it gets worse.

When I tried to run MP again, to get a clean log, TV starts, but it freezes after a couple of seconds. I restarted MP, tried again..., same thing.

I have the same problem with EPG-Data. But i thing its not a space ... its a breake that was delete from the grabber.

The usual clean-up options aren't there just a blanket 'delete all' recordings from disk which is unpleasant to loose ALL your valuable recordings.

The usual options list for deleteing selected 'viewed', 'invalid' etc is no more !!?

TVService crashes after one or two houres. I had big probles to start the tvservice the first time with this bulid, the whole TVServer Control crashed two times.
I dont get EPG for ZDF Info and some other channels. At many channels I dont get more than 5houres EPG.

Why does TVE3 use only the first TV card for grabbing EPG? I have installed two FloppyDTV S2 and it uses just the first and if i am whatching TV it stops grabbing, it should switch to the second card.

You can configure the timeshifting grabber to be enabled.

Ok, it works, but why do I have to tune on the channels to get the EPG? With DVB-T I got all EPG-Data with autograbbing.

I have installed my DVB-T card two, but the server never uses it for autograbbing EPG, but I get 3 non Sat channels by DVB-T. I selected them for grabbing, I have to tune on them too to get the EPG.

Not all channels are transmitting data for every single channel. Also it varies between broadcasters how they are sending the EPG data.

a) send all the EPG data on all channels
b) send all EPG data to the to the channels that are in the same mux
c) send EPG data only for the single channel
d) use one specific EPG channel that sends data to all channels
