channelscan...

It looks good... but after a powerdown I have to scan for channels again.... no big deal, but when I do a second restart all channels are gone once again... is it just me or is it a bug?

I add the logs if it is anything to see there.

    jburnette:
Could you please make full ts dump while tuning one of the ATSC channels.
Although it says no audio/video there should get a small dump created if you previously create the well known "C:\dumprawts.txt".
I really need a ts dump of an ATSC channel to analyze what's going on.

    gemx,

I've created the file, restarted the tvservice, manually started timeshifting and I don't get any files written to my timeshift directory.

jburnette: Most likely your tvserver has wrongly detected your tv card as a new one. If that happens all card related settings (like the recording and timeshift folders) are back to their defaults. The default folder for timeshift files is the TvServer installation folder.

OK... in that case i try to reinstall tvserver.. because that's what I thought I was running. I have it installed anyway, and configged, so if you say I don't use it I get really confused.

    History:
    1. had stable release installed
    2. Tried to install 17397, problems with scanning
    3. Downgraded to 17258, as I saw this could work, and it did.
    4. Saw this scanning problem was fixed in this release - uninstall 17258 and installed this.

I did a ghostimage of disc before trying to install tvserver first time (17397), so I will back to this and make a new shot on this latest release, but I really like to have a comment on this.

    Install order:

    MP 0.2.3 stable
    MP latest SVN
    TV3 SVN ( same # as MP SVN, very important !!! )
    TV3 Plugin

Take care that the TV3 Plugin detect correctly the MP install folder.
