Well I had the same error message on three PC's and installing the files from the above link worked 100% for me on all three.

Could something else be a problem with your system as well?

I am almost ready to give up, had consideral trouble with slow zapping, timeshift buffer problems and now lots of blocking and audio pops and squeaks.

I use TVServer and MP in multiseat configuration with current SVN builds of TVServer, TVplugin and MP, NVidia Graphics card and NVidia PureVideo new tsreader enabled.

The strange thing is that my current problems seem to relate to DVB-t signal strength, however i haven't made any changes to the antenna (don't think it has moved) or connecting cables etc.

The symptoms are that most channels accept 1 are completely unwatchable. The unwatchable channels break-up and there are all sorts of strange popping and whistling noises.

The tuning info for the watchable channels reports a signal strength of 60 and signal quality of 100. The unwatchable channels hover around 50 signal strength and 100 signal quality.

my first question is how can I determine if the picture is breaking up because of signal loss (is there a log I can look at) and secondly was anything changed in this build that may have caused or excerbated these issues.

Upto about build 1520 I had no picture quality issues.

Shouldn't be needed.. maybe.. but it did fix it for me anyway.. (and had Visual Studio 2008 latest beta fully installed on Vista already)

This build works very well for me too, great work guys.

pierremenard, hirscho came up with a solution to the import problem:

I just analyzed the old and the new format of the export.xml. The differences are just two new parameters at the end of the <TuningDetails> definition. So I took an ascii editor and just replaced "Band="0"/>" by "Band="0" "Pilot="-1" RollOff="-1" />" for the complete file. For me it worked quite well and I could import the channel list.

That microsoft download fixed the "could not register txreader"-problem on my vista machine.

I cannot seek when playing recrdings. After pressing the seek or fast forward button the player stops and returns me to the list of recorded shows.
(using new TsReader, multiseat)

Since a few builds, the TVServer does not start any more after the PC has been restarted. I have to start the TVServer manually by entering the TVSrver setup. Within the service control, the TVServer has the start setting "automatic".

In the Widows XP error log (system errors) I get the attached error messages.

no Signal

Hello I Installed this svn build and i have no Signal on Any Frequenz.
i used befor the tvengine3-07-16-2007--13-18h--Rev15207 and i have a signal
OS Vista 32

Just wondering if anyone experiences the same: very very frequently after changing channels.. playback from the buffer does not start at livepoint.. but 15min or more earlier..

(if I had more time I'd search all the forums, but I don't so to anyone being disgruntled about this being an old issue posted elsewhere.. please forgive me.. I'm blonde)
