Great addition!

Few notices:

* banner and icon should be renamed to Watch Series.png
* no thumbs for videos, no dates or descriptions (depends on the site weather they could be added)
* source selection could be nicer (for example sorted by stars percentage and site name),
sometimes there are multiple sites with number after percentage:
megavideo.com stars: 100%
megavideo.com stars: 100%7
megavideo.com stars: 100%8
megavideo.com stars: 100%9

those should be named nicer..

i propose

label = sitename.com (index)
label2 = percentage (no text stars
label3 = abbreviation (wip, ns) -- you could also use GUIListItem.IsRemote on those two so they would be colored in the skin file (not playable)

Few replies:

At my 2 systems (1.02 and 1.1 RC2) it works fine as watch-series.png. Also this was the name needed for publishing the icons.

At the original site, only when you click on a series you see a description, and to load all those html-pages and parse the descriptions out of it before you even get to see the list in onlinevideos just takes too long.

Funny, i haven't seen the site image, only when i renamed the file to Watch Series.png, i saw them.. Perhaps OnlineVideos.xml on the Google Code SVN is not up-to-date? I'm using that one..

You're right! the xml in the svn isn't quite up to date.
After I finish fiddling with the list, I will update it.

Indeed it should be.
After you acknowledge to autoupdate, go to manage sites, then click on it, and add it to your sites.

I tried this on two different computers, both have OnlineVideos 0.20, one is running MP 1.0.2, the other 1.1.0RC3. I go to Online Videos, do the autoupdate. I then exit out and run the Media Portal Configuration, plugins and configure Online Videos. I go to the Site tab and still can't find Watch Series, either under Site or Site Util. I still don't see Watch Series anywhere.

Also found this error in the error log:

I'm also not seeing watch-series. I've added it manually and not online videos doesn't work any longer. Autoupdate starts and then there are no categories. If i enter config everything is fine until i click on my watch-series entry - an error message comes up (something about a missing key - right now i'm not able to access that machine, so i'll post the exact error message later). If i delete the entry everything is fine again - but no watch-series.

doskabouter, here is a patch to fix focused item in play menu and a bit nicer output

Other than that, i only have issue where MediaPortal "locks" waiting for video to play.. For example, i select video source, then wait cursor in GUI is shown and it's stuck, i can move around the video list but cannot go back or out of OnlineVideos.. And video just won't start playing, been waiting for more than 10 minutes one time.. But i guess that's due to source..

Also, it might be OK to hide "wip" or "ns" items from video source list..

I am working on fixes for those MEdiaPortal freeze situation (but has nothing todo with watchseries, it's a general problem). It needs graph building in background thread which gives problems with VMR9 (and probably other things) but I have a solution cooking. Will take a little longer.
