I upgraded MP yesterday from RC2 to 1.0.0 Final and there appear to be a number of bugs. The current one I am trying to sort is the fact that WEBEPG no longer updates tvguide from the Radio Times website in the UK...Under the previous version it worked perfectly. It does update from digiguide.com. MP reports a fatal error and problem with the template as follows:

Also I noted when setting up the channels in WEBconf app that the available days field was 0, however under digiguide it was 14...As digiguide worked, I changed the xml file to reflect 14 for the radiotimes grabber (as one error was reporting a negative value, but don't know if I did the right thing).

TVguide-writing file just gets stuck and doesn't update the tvguide (file size about 3kb)

Can anyone help me solve this please???

Regards,
Darren

Ive got exactly the same problem. Still using rc2 and it was working for months until today. Not a clue! just a stuck 3kb 'writing' file. If I work it out I'll let you know

I found the problem. RadioTimes added a nice message at the start of each data page, which was causing parsing problems.

In accessing this XML feed, you agree that you will only access its contents for your own personal and non-commercial use and not for any commercial or other purposes, including advertising or selling any goods or services, including any third-party software applications available to the general public.

I have fixed this in SVN 21711 so it will work again :)

Excellent! If I didn't want to install the entire SVN, what bit(s) do I need to make Webepg work again with my current 1.0.0 install?

    Thanks,

    Jon.

Sorry to sound dumb, but where can I find SVN 21711, as I only seem to be able to locate the weekly snapshots and only want to load the WEBepg files in any case.

    Cheers

    Hi,
PD asked for a personal compiled version based on MP 1.0 (theres one for last SVN too) & i have attached one here (please backup/copy WebEPG.exe & WebEPG.dll before applying the attached ones) ;)

Btw, i have not tested those since i'm already running latest SVN here, so do a BACKUP ;)

    Regards
    Roy

Thanks for exe and dll - I now get BBC HD from radiotimes, although only 1 day. In Webepg_conf the no. of days is 0.
