I think I will now beg to differ! The functionality you describe (and presumably admired) within WMC is almost exactly that which I tried to describe for TVWishlist, i.e. partial matching and keyword searching.(amongst other things).
May I suggest that you read the documentation page for TVWishlist found here.
Again, I make the point that until someone does develop support for Series IDs - and now that WMC is no longer really available - there is nothing better than this plugin. As you point out, not all EPG sources have the Series ID anyway. I have used MP plus TVWishlist for quite a few year now and I don't think I would want to change from that
I merely want to make the point that anyone wanting to convert to MP who also thinks that "proper" TV recording/scheduling is important really needs to be made aware that there is a plugin available that is far superior to the facilities native to the main product.
