Hi,
I’m new to MediaPortal. I was able to install MediaPortal v1.5 without any problems. I used the guidelines from Zepman (http://zepman.tweakblogs.net/blog/2228/ziggo-digitale-tv-op-de-pc.html) as Ziggo is my provider as well. After the installation I was able to watch and record (with and without the scheduler) TV channels, including the scrambled ones. Everything was working fine and I was very impressed by MediaPortal.
However, the next day after booting my PC, MediaPortal stopped working as soon as I switched to a scrambled channel. Going through the logs I noticed the following error message: Exception:confused:ystem.AccessViolationException... at TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.MDPlug.SetChannel.
As I reordered and deleted channels quite heavily, I decided to do a complete re-install of MediaPortal. And again, after the re-installation, MediaPortal worked flawlessly. After a while I decided to reboot my PC in the hope that MediaPortal would still work after the reboot since I hadn’t touched the channel list this time around. Unfortunately, this wasn’t to be and the same AccessViolationException error message popped up in the logs.
Conclusion: something must be happening during the installation process that doesn’t happen under normal running conditions of MediaPortal causing this AccessViolationException error. I hope there is a fix for this problem as I really liked using MediaPortal already, despite the fact I was only able to use it for a short period of time.
I have included 2 sets of clean log files, both for time shifting the same scrambled channel via the TV-Server Configuration Manual Control interface. The first set of log files are from before and the second set from after rebooting my PC. I hope these log files are conclusive for fixing the problem. Please let me know, if more information is needed.

TIA, Baderks

Configuration: 16 GB Hasswell PC with Win 8.1 Pro in combination with HomeRun dual DVB-C tuner.
P.S. Is there a way to move the location of the log files to an ordinary hard disk?
