Hi all I have been a MediaPortal user some time ago. I switched to Sceneo TV-Central because I wanted my DVB-S recordings in mpeg format and not in dvr-ms. Now, however, I saw that when using TV-Server, the recordings can be in mpeg too. As I like the idea of a central TV-server very much, I came back to MediaPortal. From the specs this is the most advanced HTPC-Software ever. So a week ago I started with TV-Server and two clients (one on the server itself and one on a laptop connected through WLAN/100 Mbps LAN). After some initial difficulties I got quite far. However, some problems are still remaining. Even after searching the forum, I did not find information concerning these problems: 1. DVB-EPG is kinda spurious. For example I still have problems with the german channel ZDF. Even after a whole night with the TV-Server running, there was only very sparse EPG information for this channel 2. From TVCentral I was used to leave my PC in Hibernate and let it wake up for the scheduled recordings only. Is that possible with the TV-server too? I tried it, but the PC did not wake up from standby for the scheduled recording. Do I miss sthg? 3. On my client, when watching a tv stream and switching TV off (with the corresponding button on the client's GUI), the client hangs. Am I not supposed to do that? :) I would be very happy if someone has an answer to one or all of my questions :) Axel
