As far as I can tell I can trace this back to excessive CPU usage by TVservice. The service will sit and idle until I attempt to watch TV and when I do the CPU usage of TVservice hits maximum. The video then stutters quite badly, though audio seems to be unaffected - It is unwatchable. If I use the Hauppage WinTV software I have no problems at all. I have tried to use all of the different decoders that are available to use and this makes no difference, these include Intervideo video Decoder,MainConcept ( Hauppauge) Video, MPV, ffdshow. I thought this may have been the problem as it mainly seems to be the video that is affected. I have tried a number of different Audio decoders as well, this makes no difference. I have also attempted a lot of different SVNs going back to the original RC1 but this makes no difference. My second problem is that I can not use any of the revisions after 19228, as there is now a new issue where the TV server config will not change from the analogue tuner page once it is selected. IT gives errors if I try and manually add a channel. Incidentally I have the exact same problems on fresh installs of Vista, XP ad MCE2005 on the same machine. Thx Rich [/QUOTE]
