HEAD Revision is 28129 now. So you mean I have to update my source code to rev28129 and then apply patch V8?

u can always open the .patch file with notepad - there u should be able to read what rev. it was based on.

eg.

attached are the binaries. These are my first provided binaries, so I hope I did everything right

The cpu usage is now constant 3-5% in all but two areas.

In TV HOME when either timeshifting and/or background recording with NO video playback. CPU usage jumps from 3-5% to 12-15% for TV Service. (Tv Home with NO TVSERVER activity and the cpu usage is low

Bringing up a context menu ( channels, streams etc ) in TVHOME and the cpu usage drops.

Fullscreen video playback is fine with cpu usage remaining low.

Apart from the above the improvement is dramatic thanks.

If there is a latter updated fix version of the binaries available for vanilla 1.2beta instal I can retest.

could you try the binaries v8 attached some posts ago? These should also work with 1.2 Beta
They changed again a lot from v5 to v8, but I can't tell you exactly what
