TVService Crashes on Resume (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

When I resume MP from S3 Standby, every time I try to play Live TV, MP crashes.
Note that I am able to do other things in MP including playing Recorded TV as long as it is before I stream live TV.

Also I have MP set to restart on resume - even if I restart MP after it crashes it will again crash if I try to play live TV. I also have the "Enable CRC Check" option disabled in the EPG settings in the TV Server Configuration app.
Only way I can fix the problem is to do a reboot.

I have also tried to restart the TVService.exe service but Windows cannot restart it (return a timeout error).
All of my up to date HTPC specs are in my signature.

I've also attached the logs if that helps.

Any ideas would be great.

Cheers - Scott

Thanks for updating with log files. :)

...every time I try to play Live TV, MP crashes.
When you say "crashes" do you mean freezes, or does MP literally close down with a Windows error message?
I ask because I don't see crashes. I see freezes or hangs... and they're caused by your tuner not responding correctly after resume.

I agree with @seco. Try restart after resume.
If that doesn't work, try different driver versions.
Ultimately you may need to use a devcon script to stop the tuner driver before standby and restart it after resume.

Summary: the problem is with your tuner driver, and you'll need to find a suitable workaround if you want to continue to use standby/resume.
