Nope, not using that Boris, sorry.

Anyways, I'm going on holiday on Friday for a month, so I won't be around.

I have supplied the relevant files as a patch to sourceforge here, so maybe this can make it into the cvs version if it's good enough already. Or perhaps someone can make an updated dll when a new MP version becomes available.

Seppie is on holiday too, so the two of us are out for now.

    Thank you

I checked the patches section and it says "No files currently attached".

    Thanks,

Just chiming in to show appreciation and support for this plug-in. Collecting series is one thing, but having them presented through MP with episode descriptions is just freaking awesome. I check this thread daily for posts 8)

I'm sorry for the lack of updates. But I've had alot going on lately (starting with a long holiday), seppie seems to have dissapeared :-( and right now im just stacked with work on another project.

Luckily though this will change next week and I intend to update it and get a version ready for 1.3 early next week. maybe even during the weekend.

    Thanks for your support.

Thanks for making this plug-in/project available. I'm a big fan of the direction your taking it, incidentally just started using MP about the same time you took some time off but this plug-in was a big reason why I decided to stick with MP. Actually that’s a little misleading, the more involved I got it turned out to be one of many reasons for supporting MP, but was one of the first ones that drew me in to investigate further.

Not sure your aware of this and what is involved but I have a suggestion. In the realm of a similar type of HTPC software, a plug-in writer created a plug-in with similar functionality as this one. One aspect that plug-in had, which was intriguing, was the ability to generate thumbnails from a random screen in the media file and add to the database. I found this very cool in regards to television shows. While movies you can display poster-art/DVD-art, individual episodes of a series don't have dedicated art to display. heh, a picture is worth a thousand words. :D

Thats actually a good idea and would be very cool. However I'm not sure I can do this. I will look into it though. Right now it uses the same picture for every episode of every show. So the simpsons will always have the same thumbnail. Good idea though. Who knows, maybe its not too hard to implement.

I downloaded the 1.3 sources yesterday and I think it'll be fairly fast to integrate it again. I need to test of course. But I defenitly think I can get a version out by monday.

    Until later

OK, new version available for 2.0 RC1 here.

    Instructions:
Put the string.xml into your language/english directory
Put the WindowPlugins.dll into your plugins/windows directory

And please backup the old files, in case it causes problems for you (make sure you rename the "WindowPlugins.dll" to something other than dll, so "WindowPlugins_old.dll" is not good!, mine is named "WindowPlugins.dll.original".

Works again with the following formats:
    Showtitle <seasonnumer>x<episodenumber>
    Showtitle <seasonnumer><episodenumber>
    Showtitle s<seasonnumer>e<episodenumber>

In addition to the old information, it now also gets:

Episode Premiered: Sunday, February 20, 2005
Series Premiered: Sunday, October 03, 2004
Series Airs: Sunday 9:00 PM on ABC
    Series Runtime: 60 mins
    Series Status: Returning Series
    Series Genre: Drama
as well as a general series description

    Todo:
if the searchresults dont contain the show you want, pop up the keyboard to ask for the correct show. this is mostly a propblem of the online search on tv.com which is not very good.

    and of course stability work.

ok, little screenshot to tease you all :)

Let me know about problems you might have.
