I'm using MP 0.1.3.0 on XP with sp2.
I have a Twinhan DVB-C card with Viacess CAM.
BDA-driver 1.2.1.9.

When I do a "Autotune" on symbolrate 6875, MP can't find any channels.
There is almost 100% "Signal strength" and 30% "Signal quality".

Any help is appreciated. Maybe there is some log file I could check?

Regards
Peter

the standard DVBC file found in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\TuningParameters directory is a generic one.

I have same symbol rate used by my provider but none of the standard frequency in the file works.

If you have an original decoder look at the frequency of working channels and modify the file "dvbc Symbolrate 6875.dvbc" with these values. (or maybe a friend in the same area)

I have updated the "dvbc Symbolrate 6875.dvbc" file to the frequencies we use in denmark. Still no channels.

I will try with the new BDA-drivers (1.2.2.7) tonight.

Hi Peter.

Although you said you updated the dvbc file with the required frequencies, i'm still gonna post these, maybe you got the wrong ones, i can confirm that these work for me.

143000,64QAM,6875000
156000,64QAM,6875000
490000,64QAM,6875000
498000,64QAM,6875000
506000,64QAM,6875000
514000,64QAM,6875000
522000,64QAM,6875000
530000,64QAM,6875000
538000,64QAM,6875000
546000,64QAM,6875000
554000,64QAM,6875000
578000,64QAM,6875000
586000,64QAM,6875000
602000,64QAM,6875000
610000,64QAM,6875000
618000,64QAM,6875000
626000,64QAM,6875000
674000,64QAM,6875000

Either add them to the "dvbc Symbolrate 6875.dvbc" file, or create a new .dvbc (tdc.dvbc)

Your problem could also be the signal strength, i had to do a lot of finetuning on the sig amp to recieve all of them, some had 100% strength, some 0%.

My frequency-file is exactly like yours. MP just can't find any channels.
Could you please make a screen'dump of the channel-setup of one af the channels? Then I could try to insert the same and see if it is only auto-scanning that's not working.

/Peter
