TwinHan Magic Box PRO Hybrid Digital & Analogue & FM USB VP-704A

Hi Guy,

Any change of media portal supporting this device?

BDA driver can be found here. note: select the latest driver version which is not WHQL

I tried using in media portal, but couldnt get it to work.

It incorrectly picks up 4 devices, 2 digital and 2 analogue.

trying to create a digital card profile caused a graph error.

analogue & FM, I couldnt get to work either. trying to tune fm sometimes locked up the form.


Hoping someone could please help me out with a driver or something to get it to work. I am a java programmer and just starting to learn a bit of C#. but I have know idea how to adapt the bda driver to work with media portal.

By the looks of it, the card has DVB-T + Software Analogue capture.

You can get the DVB portion added easy enough by doing whats in the "How to get my tv card supported thread".

The analogue portion may work but its not really supported. I think they are looking for developers for the software section but the proper tv engine (hardware/dvb) is lacking in them enough.

Yay,

DMAN has sent me an updated card definitions file and it all works nice

well the digital TV part anyway. I didnt pickup any digital radio channels and analogue TV and FM isnt supported at this stage

I Have the same problem, i have a TwinHan Mgaic Box PRO 704a and i cant get the analog reciver to work in the new version 0.2.0.0

Does your card work now?
