Thank you. The copy and paste of the gentle.config file fixed it. I can now open MP1 and watch live TV. I will continue to make sure the rest is working again...

    Great! :)
Sorry again about the delayed response.

I'm sure you know this, but you're really going to need to fix the cause of those BSODs if you want MediaPortal and TV Server to be reliable.
I've previously recommended you use the older tuner driver. Obviously it's up to you as to whether you take that recommendation on board.
Either way, if the BSODs don't stop, I recommend you test your hardware with memtest86 (memory), prime95 (CPU) and anything else you can get your hands on.

For my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 (8851) tuner card, I believe I am running your recommended device drive, version 7.9.1.33006 (dated 01-06-2015). If I should be running a different version , please let me know. I am running Win 10 (64-bit) OS.

As per my earlier responses: the recommended driver based on various reports is version 7.9.1.28162... so no, you are not running the driver I was recommending. You can download the older version from -->here<--. Note I'm not 100% sure that older driver will work on W10. If it doesn't then stick with the version you're using.

OK. I had to roll the drivers back two versions in order to get it to accept 7.9.1.28162 (dated 6/11/2010). I will run it this way for a while and see how it performs. Thanks!
