First of all thank you for this excellent skin, great work!
I find Avalon to be probably the best skin for MP, but I wish that:
- when I am watching a movie/TVshow and press the Info button on the remote then, among the playing position and all the other movie info, Avalon always shows the movie/tv show plot and this almost covers the whole screen: I usually don't need it, so a skin option to turn off the movie's plot (or the ability to have an expanded/collapsed OSD) would be really appreciated.
- in MPTV Series I use the wide banners view, but Avalon only shows 4 banners at a time: I would like to have more banners showed in MPTV Series.

+1 on the first option of having no detail shown, mostly I just check to see how long left in playback and really do not need to see full info.

Yes, I'd like this too. The standard option of info & then pressing the up button for that display would be good.

I'd actually like something else - in WMC if you press the play button while video is already playing, you get the timeline bar, & then pressing play again removes it (or it just times out). I'm guessing this may be a player function rather than skin though? I'm a bit strange in that I couldn't care less about metadata, I just want an easy to use (i.e. list view folders), excellent quality video player, so if I could avoid the actual info all together & just access the time remaining, that would be perfect for me.

+1 for the removal of the extra information when info or pause is pressed. I too tend to use the info button to find out how much of the program / film is remaining and I find the large amount of screen used by the info being shown is too intrusive.

The same also applies when watching an episode from a TV series. Again all the information is shown automatically rather than just the time remaining function.
