Just upgraded to RC1, seems to be fine, although I have two issues that weren't there before.

Wuth the UKs Freeview lineup, i've re-organised things to make the channels more logical. This new order shown up fine the the TVServer configuration app, but not in the MediaPortal EPG. What have I done wrong? As no-one else has posted this yet, I'm guessing i've changed a setting I shouldn't have, or not changed something I should have :)

Also I can't get channel thumbs to display. They are in Program Files\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos. is that right? or should they be somewhere else?

Thanks for the help. I'm sure it's all my fault :)

Is this with DVB epg, or are you using something else, mine just enabled grab from DVB, select all channels and that was it, does sound like you are using a xml import though, or just hit the refresh button in TVServer setup\manual if it is dvb and i'm totally wrong.

Yeah, i thought that as well but couldn't find it. Found it now though. I should have just gone to bed last night as opposed to starting this thread :)

I'm using the DVB-T EPG. Grabbed all the channels without issue, weeded out all the ones I don't want (like the encripted, interactive and all the shopping channels), then re-organised them to be more logical (BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, ITV1, ITV2, ITV2+1, ITV3, etc). They save like this in the TVServer config, but do not display in order when viewed in MediaPortal itself.

EDIT: Well I fixed the EPG order issue. I managed to end up with two channel groups, both called "All Channels". One had the original lineup or channels all mapped to it. The other had my amended list but none of them mapped to it. Deleted the original lineup and everything is fine. No idea how I managed to create the two groups though...

Do I just create the "users" folder as it doesn't currently exsit. Also do I drop the JPEGs/PNG in the following folder structure:-

    C:\program files\team media portal\media portal\users\thumb\Tv\logos\BBC1.jpg.

Or do I just drop the JPEGs/PNGs in

    C:\program files\team media portal\media portal\users\

    erm.... where is your problem???

    Again:
Windows Start Button -> Team MediaPortal -> MediaPortal -> User Files

Presto, new windows explorer opens -> there are the userfiles......

    physical location is:
    C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
^in whatever your Windows language is. ;)
