U-Verse STB and Sleep Mode (1 Viewer)

I'm not MediaPortal user yet, but I'm preparing to dump SageTV and move on to something else, but haven't decided yet.

Quick question:

Since a little utility called STBKeepAlive doesn't work under 64-bit Windows, how do you folks keep the STB awake and available? In SageTV, I would IR Blast the STB every 7-hours with 60 second manual recording. It worked, but its clumsy.

I use eventghost running in the background using the timer addin to blast the "Enter" command in 6 hr intervals on all 3 zones of my USB-UIRT. It is very simple to setup, if you need help just let me know. It sux that AT&T doesn't give you the ability to change this.
