UK DVB-T channer order is wrong.
and when you re-order them on the tvserver config.. the client does not show the "new" order.. it still shows it in the order they were scanned

only a thought Guys, did you stop the tvserver service process and restart.

Not running TVService at moment, considering setting up dual boot so i can.

But it's "a time thing at moment"

    Regards

yes i have stopped and restarted the tvserver a few times.

as previously mentioned in another thread... my tvserver service stops when an MP client closes... so i always have to manually restart it.

    You don't need dual boot.

Just set the Tvservice as manual, then at boot it isn't running and you can run the standard MP without conflict.

If you want to run the server/client just close your standard MP and start the TVservice from a seperate MP folder.

am i missing something on that score ?

is the tvserver actually installed as a service? i always had to manually start it in the server config screen.

Once started, either automaticaly at boot or manualy, the TV service should remain running until you explicitly stop it. (or it crahses, where you would need to reboot).

The timeshifting does tend to stop when you close MP though, which should be an option for the user i beleive.

Yes its a service on mine and it set to start automatically, maybe you need to change yours to automatic in Control Panel - Administration - Services (Sorry I expect you already know that but just in case!)

well mine stops whenever an MP client closes their app

i tested this on the client running ont he server PC.. and on a remote client.

both occasions, once MP had closed, the tv service stopped on the server
