The only channel not working is BBC News 24 - this stopped working when Winter Hill transmitter was retuned at start of November - I'm now at a loss as to what I can do to get BBC News. Any suggestions welcomed!

Try deleting the channel in TV server and re-scanning. It's on the same mux as BBC1/BBC2 so it shouldn't be reception problems causing the issue.

If that doesn't help, try these commands - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-1-svn-builds-313/tv-groups-not-showing-up-tvserver-setup-57873/index12.html#post478517 - to clean up the channel info in the database, then do a channel delete and re-scan.

    Good plan.

If you delete all the channels you may lose the 'All Channels' group in TV server config (minor MP bug) - running the database commands should fix that (it did for me).

I went through each channel and deleted it. I then rescanned both tuners on the Hauppauge card and I now have all channels back - including BBC 1 & 2 Wales and S4C!

When I start MP up now, I get an error command popping up on the 'Home' screen asking if I want to continue or terminate MP

So, I have now sorted one problem, but inadvertently got another  Just my luck though - if I was drowning at sea I would get saved by the Titanic!

EDIT: Also noticed that I have 'lost' ALL my recorded TV. It is still there in on a separate disc drive, all in its folder with the xml details but it is just not showing up in MP.

How do I get MP to recognise the files again?

    Thanks again Tony!

I had already amended the settings on the TV server and pointed the new tuner card to the appropriate folders.

I have nothing showing in the large box under "Recorded files not currently present in database", so I presume the database has all the entries of what is currently in the Recorded TV folder. However, there is nothing showing in MP under the Recorded TV button.

I just thought there may have been more to it than than amending the configuration folders. Perhaps the database needs to be cleared, and then to "scan" the Recorded TV folder again.

EDIT: I have found this thread that is the exact same problem, and also how to solve it.. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...tv-missing-after-scanning-new-channels-59093/

Close TV-server config, temporarily rename the folder (so TV server can't find the files), open TV-server config, hit the 'Remove no longer existing files' button (it doesn't delete the files, just the old database entries), close TV-server config, restore the correct folder name, open TV-server config, do the import.

I've got to say that your method seems much more logical, and straightforward, than the others noted in the thread which relate to SQL etc.

The OH is watching "Strictly Celebrity Underwater Basketweaving on Ice in the Jungle" or some other such thing, on Sky now, so I can't get anywhere near the HTPC setup

EDIT: All fixed and working as it was when I first et it up a couple of months back. All running sweet and from the remote too!! Really pleased that I have all my recorded TV back and all channels.

Just additional thanks to you Tony for your direction and pointers...if you were nearby, I'd get you a pint!
