unable to choose TV options (1 Viewer)

I just installed MP 1.3 with the default Titan skin. On the Home screen I click TV and a sub menu with options like TV, recordings, tv guide, etc popped up to the right of it. However the sub menu disappears when I move my mouse to select an option. I must be doing something wrong. What is it?

The BasicHome submenu is not mouse compatible. There will be an option to disable the submenus in a future release.
