    I have been going thru his logs he posted the other day...
    The card might be having issues because

    or
    "8/6/2015 12:13:54 PM";"McAfee Service Controller";"(0)";"Information";"The mfevtp MMS Service entered the running state.";"1107296257"

    Thanks breese, but at this point I think those are "red herrings".

    I am retuning under TV Servers. I do not know whether to use ATSC Digital terrestrial or Clear QAM Cable[DOUBLEPOST=1438963158][/DOUBLEPOST]P.S. Administrator states WMC no longer active. Changed in MP config.[DOUBLEPOST=1438963223][/DOUBLEPOST]P.P.S. Scanning channels. Getting a lot of red, but some black.

    @Twoarcadians
    Again, you didn't answer my question about which guide you're following. However, based on this statement...
    I am retuning under TV Servers. I do not know whether to use ATSC Digital terrestrial or Clear QAM Cable
    ...it seems clear that you haven't been and aren't following any sort of guide at all. That's a recipe for wasting time and/or failure. :(

    I strongly suggest you delete all channels and start over with the guide here:

    It is now almost 4:30 AM here in New Zealand, so I have to go to bed. I will check this thread for questions when I have a moment "tomorrow" (later today).

    I have been using your set up instructions under wiki. However as I stated, those instructions are rather generic, take me only so far, Then I reach multiple options that are checked. Your directions carry a lot of abreviations and terms I'm not familiar with. However, if you need an MRI scan, I can explain T1, T2, Flair, etc. How do I delete everything and start over with your guide?

    In the Channel List, click the 1st one.
    Go to the bottom, Hold the Shift Key and Click the last one. it should highlight all of them.
    Now hit the Delete button under the channel list

    Seeing you are on a cable provider, use the QAM to do a channel scan.
    btw: I am in Chicago and had both types of connections... it does work

    Appreciate your help. Prefer not to use remote access. Have tuners configured. In Media Portal, TV Server under Hostname says "Home". Test says connected. Under that is Under that is Wake up TV Server as needed WOL timeout 10. Unchecked Auto-config server MAC Address. Have inserted Mac Address of Cable Card manually. TV Server Config shows IP Address. I have list of TV channels in TV config under ATSC some of them local.[DOUBLEPOST=1438983645][/DOUBLEPOST]P.S. However, now Medial Portal won't respond
