This is a repost since evidently no one could be bothered reading through all the details in my old post.
Happens with both microsoft sql and mysql, when I start up tv-server config it says 'Unable to connect to 0x1' (my computer's name), if I try to click on anything in the menu that comes up (has Project, and TV Servers, if I expand TV Servers it just has my computer's name) after the error, it says 'TvService is not started' although it actually is running and if I stop it, it asks me to enable it, so I click yes, and it's obviously still enabled or it'd just ask again.
Anyway, I can't believe that there is nothing in any search engine about this error or on these forums. I have no firewalls no AVs running, nothing. It should be common, I've tried every method of installation, every option, looked up guides, and it just doesn't work. Ever. At all.
So please for the love of god, so the money I spent on this and the hours of my life I've spent isn't wasted because I can't use it, could someone tell me why I'm getting this error and how to get around it, or fix it.
Thanks.
