I just installed a tv tuner card into my office pc. I uploaded the NVTV drivers and such. But I can't get any software to open and allow me to watch tv. This is probably something dumb that I am over looking.
I've tried to use the tv-server configuration but I don't know what my user name or PW would be for either microsoft SQL or the other. I've checked my devices and there are no issues to be seen.

What else can I do to get my tv signal to my screen?

Thanks

When i hit TV it goes to teh TV set up and says "Please specify the IP address or host name of the master TV service." What is the host name of the master tv service? And why would something that runs off of a coax cable (not the internet) need an IP address?

Any help is appreciated.

Does that mean the software that came with the TV card does not work, because if that does not, then there's no hope of getting mediaportal to run

login for sql is name "sa", password "MediaPortal"
