I got this message when I try to add my tv card in mediaPortal. It's an Avermedia PCMCIA.

Does it mean I'm f***d and that I will never be able to use my card with mp, or is there a walkaround this issue?

Please heeeeeeeeelp, I'm really desperate to make my card work in mp.

Does your card have BDA drivers? If it does it will most likely work. What is the exact model of your card.

If it has BDA drivers, familiarize yourself with the lower 2/3 of this page regarding Adding your card to the Natively SUpported list:
    http://www.maisenbachers.de/dokuw/install:capturecards:start

    FInd me on IRC: http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=375

I will help you get it working.

If it does not have BDA drivers...well you'll have to get Dman to help.

    Thanks a lot Commodore 64 !!
I will try and add my card to the list, if ever I have Bda drivers (fingers crossed). Won't be able to do so until dec 1st, since I'm on holiday at the moment.

thanks again for the link mate!
