yep, looks like a similar issue...

please can anyone help us with this? It looks like DNTV! Live PCI DVB-T Cards with the latest drivers (ie. 4.0.108.3) aren't working with MP 0.2

Same here with MP 0.2 clean install (plus patch) and with Technisat Airstar2 and Pinnacle PCTV Stereo. Same Message from the beginning: "Unable to create graph" while trying to add new tv card.

switching back to 0.1.3.0 again ... waiting for 0.3 release ... :-(

with this Video Card you will not be able to run MediaPortal 0.2

    Please read MediaPortal Requirements

VGA: DX9 compatible videocard with at least 64MB of video memory (recommended 128 MB):
    Cards which work:
ATI Radeon series 9600 (or above)
NVIDIA GeForce, GeForce FX (5200 or above) and NForce series
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 (integrated i865G)

well, i've just reinstalled on a clean hard disk... MP 0.2.02 and latest drivers, etc, etc.... and exactly the same problem.

Does anyone have dntv live cards with latest drivers working with MP 0.2?

    Ok... just to follow up.

I was convinced it was the DNTV Live card causing all the problems but couldn't figure out why. So purchased an AverMedia 777 and installed that and got exactly the same problem (ie. Unable to create graph). So... reinstalled Windows _AGAIN_ and this time everything worked! *phew*

I still don't know what caused the problem, but I suspect it must have been a corrupt system file or some sort of installation problem with drivers... actually, I have no idea why it didn't work before - I'm just happy to have TV again!

I have just built a new PC (Conroe based system) and have just installed it to find this problem after I moved my DNTV Live! Full Height card from my s939 A64 3200+ system where it has been working happily for some time. Strangely it runs the latest version of the driver that is available from the Support section on the www.digitalnow.com.au website.

Seeing the feedback above, I removed the old drivers, rebooted, dusted off my old CD with the original BDA drivers on it (the one originally with the card) and then fired up MediaPortal again. It now auto-tunes fine.

Looks like the problem is with the current version of the drivers although I have no idea why this is an issue on my new system running the latest drivers when I was definitely using the new drivers on my Athlon based system (I had to - I was using DNTV Live! software which has problems with the older ones!).

Thanks for everyone's help - maybe we have to report this one so we can move to the latest drivers (the old ones have a couple of issues which is why I was not using them in the first place).
