Unable to disable extensions / plugin (1 Viewer)

Hey all..

Since upgrading to 1.0.2 yesterday I now have a new menu item on my home screen called 'Extensions'

I do not want this there and if I go into the MP Config -> Plugins it will not allow me to disable 'Extensions' .. Always keeps leaving it as enabled.

Please help

Same here - on the home screen & can't be disabled.
I will be doing a clean install later this week so I am not too concerned now but if it is there after a clean install I will do a bug report.

Hi, same here but i found a solution.
open mediaportal.xml in my documents and change the following <entry name="Extensions">yes</entry> to <entry name="Extensions">no</entry>
it is under <section name="plugins">

Mouse, I didn't have that file in my documents, however, I did find it here:

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

I edited the file as you suggested and it removed the 'extensions' from the home menu

Thanks... It must be some form of minor bug. Not sure if its because of upgrade or full install though.

HHmm can not find af file name like "mediaportal.xml"
