Unable to enter PIN with numeric keys (1 Viewer)

SVN 05-17-2006--07-44 (but basically related to RC4 + RC3)


Minor -but increasingly annoying- issue:
RC3 + RC4 do not allow entering the PIN via:
a) MCE Remote numeric keys (European version) , or
b) MCE IR keyboard numeric keys, or
c) Regular keyboard numeric keys

Observations:
- a and b worked (for sure) with RC2 (not sure about c)
- numeric keys work for e.g. channel change

Sorry but it is NOT FIXED with todays SVN !!!

Please note that my report did not concern any "virtual keyboard" !

It concerns the non-virtual numeric keypad on my remote control or IR keyboard which allowed in RC2 the direct typing of the PIN in the menu entry line, without the use of the virtual keyboard!


BTW Todays SVN is a little confusing because it is called "svn-05-17-2006--11-39.rar" with file date of 05-18-2006. I assume this is a mistake in the file name and this is the last release svn?

You are correct! This -and next svn of today- solve the problem: the PIN can be entered again via the remote keypad.

However the "green button" (the MCE button) does not work anymore in todays releases!
This button gives a black screen with following report:
"missing or invalid file:skin\MCE\BasicHome.xml"

I can not find this skin file in this or previous releases. I guess the file name is wrong in the menu?

Should I strart a new thread for this.... or is this report ok?
