Hello,

I'm unable to fastforward my DIVX and MKV files. What happends is: sound goes out, progress bar is moving like it is fast forwarding, but video plays normally, no fastforwarding. It was like that on MP 1.2.1. also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thnx

Well, the problem seems to be in audio renderer. When I set up recklock or mp audio renderer as audio renderer fast forward is not possible.

Any way around it?

Thnx

What do you use as a splitter for MKV - Haali or LAV ?

The default DirectSound renderer on Win7 will support up to x4 smooth FFWD - beyond this MP will use skip-step FFWD.

Not all splitters/decoders support fast-forward properly, so it's chance if smooth FFWD works or not.....

I'm using LAV, will try Haali when I get home.

For me, MEPO Audio renderer or Recklock is must because I can't use refresh rate changer (my TV doesn't support it).

    Thnx

PS. What do people prefer, Haali or LAV splitter?

    Update:

Using Haali spliter fixed it, now i can fast forward.

But, another thing happened - subtitles doesn't seem to follow when I fastforward, they continue to go like the video is playing normal.

    Any fix?

    Thnx
