Hi. I'm trying to install Mediaportal 0.2.3 RC2 but alle the time, i get the error
"Unable to install because a newer version of this product is already installed."

I previously had 0.2 RC2 installed a year ago, and was unable to remove it, as it wasnt in the Add/remove programs menu. So i deleted the mediaportal folder and deleted all keys with "mediaportal" in the registry, but i still get the error above.

I tried to install an old version, as suggested in the guide here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/unable_install_because_newer_version_product_already-t12519.html
but then i got the message "Another version of this product is already installed..."

What should I do? what does the installer check for when looking for previously installed versions of MP?

This is the install.log for an install attempt:
