System: New Asus CM1745, AMD A8-5500, windows 8.

Codecs: video: Cyberlink Power DVD13 DXVA enabled, audio: LAV, splitter: LAV, renderer: MPAR

Symptoms: When launching .ts recordings from Oneportal skin using the Latest Media Handler links, get either "unable to play video" message; or, (for HD recordings) audio starts without launching fullscreen video and Mediaportal does not respond to input.
Logs attached with "unable to play video" example.

I just tested this and I can not confirm.
Do you have I.F.C. plugin enabled?

IFC was probably still installed, but would have been disabled at the the time I took that log (due to posted & observed issues about it crashing mediaportal). I have since uninstalled IFC using MPEI. Should I do a manual clean-up of certain folders to make sure that it is uninstalled and non-active?

Confirmed to be uninstalled completely. Still getting "cannot play video" message when launching HDTV .ts files from the TV hub. Should I recreate problem and repost logs?

Does it work if you use My TV (instead of LMH links) ?

Also try it with 'Wi-Fi remote' disabled.

Does it work if you use My TV (instead of LMH links) ? = Yes, or using recorded tv, and launching from there is fine (exact same recordings).

Also try it with 'Wi-Fi remote' disabled. Interesting idea....did not help.

I think you need to post a question in the LMH area then....from the logs, it seems to be starting playback and then almost immediately stopping it - e.g:

    Code:

...it starts to build the graph for playing D:\Recordings\2013 Tour de France - 2013-07-06.ts, but stops play just after, so it's almost trying to start and stop play at the same time.
