Unable to play a video (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Hope you guys can help.

I have CoreAVC, ffdshow and Haali media splitter installed, and I have been able to play all file types until now.

I have a 1080p .ts file which is H.624

If I open it in Graphedit it uses CoreAVC and I can play it fine within Graphedit itself. However, when i try to play it within media portal, nothing happens. I can still see the media portal menu, and hear the media portal sounds when i press up and down on the cursors the screen is frozen and I have to task manager out of media portal.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Not without an attached MediaPortal.log of such a session.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt know there was a mediaportal.log file, where's that?

Also, I did manage to get around it by renaming the file to .mkv, any ideas why that may be?
