i have this video file (simpson movie trailer) i believe has AVC and AAC codec and in 1080p format.
I have K-Lite codec (Standard) pack installed (win XP SP3)

if i play in regular windows media player - It plays well.
but when i play in MP - i get errror somethign like "unable to play AVC, AAC codec LL..)

i searched around and thought SAF 4.0 install will solve it. I installed it (uninstalled all other codec) but still same problem

Can someone give me any suggestion or if i missed anything?

Thanks,

SAF4 is outdated, try SAF5.

Try changing the file extension to .mp4. I seem to remember I had a similar problem. I think .mp4 might use a different decoder.
