So here is the problem, till today all the video formats worked fine with my media portal, but now only mkvs works, the .avi files doesn't and it says: unable to play XVID video MP3 audio or unable to play DIVX Video MP3 audio

I haven't installed anything new and I don't think I have changed nothing on my computer

I've tried restarting my computer several times.

I've tried uninstalling and installing again the CCCP codepack

I've tried uninstalling and installing again media portal

I've tried downloading directly de xvid codec from the official site.

If I play the "unable to play" .avi files with media player classic, they work fine.

I can't find a solution, please help.

Got the solution changing from EVR to VMR9 in team media portal configuration -> directshow

The question is, why this happened?

Because I haven't entered in the media portal setup since a long time ago, so I assume the EVR mode worked fine for me till today, may be some windows update?
