    Hi,

I recently installed the online videos plugin, and I got it working eventually, but I can't play m4v files (f.e. http://podcasts.discovery.com/science/podcasts/2008/12/sci_sciencevideo_needtoknow_robotwar_.m4v

I can play this file with mediaportal/mplayerc/etc. if I save it to disk, but online videos plugin says: unable to play sci_sciencevideo_needtoknow_robotwar_.m4v and the next lines says audio codec:

have u already added .m4v to the "video extensions" in "mediaportal configuration"?
    if u didn't, do it now ;)

That was the first thing I tried, before that I couldn't even see the file in mediaportal. It didn't help

I followed all the SAF installation and I am having the same problems. It registers the itunes videos but gives me "unable to play: title.m4v"
video codec: H264 Audio codec: AAC

Previously I tried the CCC codec pack with no success. Any other ideas?

    have you installed quicktime alternative?
i've got klite mega codec pack (last version) now on 7, before on xp, and it works with both...
i've just tried with one file in discovery podcasts an it works...
uninstall codecs, polish your register, and try klite mega

While now I've tried klite mega codec pack and still do not have any success, can you think of any other reasons? I should use the ffd codec pack for video players in the MP configuration correct?
