Unable to play: [random hex string] (1 Viewer)

One of my TV clients has started to play up, and not play live or recorded TV - instead of playing, I get "Unable to play:" and a random hex string. The other client works fine. Its not a firewall problem, as I've tried turning that off. I think its a codec issue, based on the logs, hence posting in this forum.

I've updated to the latest SAF and AMD Catalyst drivers, but still the same problem.

Any ideas appreciated.

Problem solved - muppet network setup. I had configured a static IP address on the client PC with my router as the DNS server rather than my actual server. As I'm running in a domain, the server then assumed that the client was outside the domain, and blocked some (but not all) ports.
