unable to setup web radio (1 Viewer)

when I go to radio channels add choose web-stream and input the url of the station I want to add, it will not preview and says "previes failed: No TuningDetails"

Any thoughts?

Logs and system specs should always be added - just in case

That will never work because the web radio channels are "tuned" by MediaPortal. You will have to create the channel, add it to a channel list, and then test it in MediaPortal. See here for more information.

Note: recording of web radio streams is also not supported.

That is the process I took as per Radio WebStreams - MediaPortal Wiki

I went to radio channels
Clicked add
named the station
Clicked add
choose web-stream
Clicked OK
input the url of the station
I did not put anything in for the bit rate but I haver tried 0, 32 and 128 and none of those worked

Clicked preview and got preview failed: No TuningDetails"

I don't know how much clearer I can be. As I said to you in my last post and as it says at the bottom of the wiki page: preview does not work for radio web stream channels. You have to use MediaPortal to listen to them. It will never work even if you set up the tuning details correctly...

Further, you've missed 2 instructions at the bottom of the Wiki page:

add the channel to one or more channel groups so that it is visible in MediaPortal
map the channel to the RadioWebStream card in the Radio Mapping section
