Uncertain about MediaPortal-Error.log messages (related to connection to ARGUS TV) (1 Viewer)

    Hi All,

    I have been getting log messages in the MediaPortal-Error.log file when resuming from sleep, stating that the connection to the tv server (via the loopback adapter on 192.168.2.1 as outlined by Paranoid Delusion a few years ago) couldn't be made. This occurs for several seconds, after which I can watch TV so it eventually works and recordings are fine.

    I use the ARGUS-TV plugin to schedule programs, with MePo TV server to watch and record. It is a single seat setup, with a static IP (192.168.1.130). The errors have been appearing in 1.6 FINAL with ARGUS 2.2.2 and now 1.7 FINAL with ARGUS 2.2.2 and the BETA release of MePo 1.7 client plugin, so I don't think it is related to the MePo or ARGUS programs. It could be more to do with my settings, but I am not sure where to look from here.

    The log files are attached for anyone who may be able to help. Please ask if you need any more details on my setup.

    Thanks mm for your quick response. I will head back over to the Argus forums for help. I managed to fix the TV server errors mentioned in the earlier Argus post, so I thought the log messages were more to do with my MediaPortal or network settings.
