Hello,

I have a problem with my musicplayer.
Whenever I play my music, after two or three numbers, the music stops playing and mediaportal returns to home menu.
when I return to the playlist and start again, the music stops after a few seconds.

To make it start playing, I need to restart mediaportal, but after a few songs it stops again.
Whenever it stops, it is during a song, never at the begin or end.
I have to say that it usualy happens with songs with hebrew fonts.

Ive tried the following things:
-disable scrobbler
-disable fanart handler
-Before I used the Xfactor skin I used blue3wide, in this skin it also happened but a little less often.
-use another graphicscard, ATI Radeon HD3600 was my previous card.
-use another soundcard, Maudio Revolution 5.1 with Envy24_Family_DriverV540a driver
-fully reinstall mediaportal
-fully reinstall windows 7 and mediaportal

The problem doesn't seem to go away,
I've added my log and put enters in front and end of where I think the problem occured.

I hope someone can help me, because I have tried everything I know and have no idea how I can fix this problem.

Many thanks,

Elektrobob

Turns out a part of the problem is skinrelated.

In the Xfactor skin there are 3 layouts for the music screen.
If you use hebrew (probably all right to left orientated letters),
the third screen will generate this problem.
I've selected the second screen now and it works perfectly.

Why it sometimes happened in blue3wide is still unknown.

    Hi,
I've seen this too(B3W), but nothing consistent. I also get a .net.web exception but since it's not every time it's hard to say what it is with B3W as i test with.
If you come up with something(B3W or B3) there just post & I'll try to confirm & maybe we can figure out what it is & fix it(would be nice indeed) ;)

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,
    Thanks for your respond!
With the correct settings, it hasn't happened in the Xfactor skin (yet).
I also think the Xfactor skin looks a lot better.
this is why I'll focus on this skin for now.
You could always try Xfactor, maybe it will work for you to.
When any other problems occur I will post it again.
    Regards
