RC1 not satisfying stability - Please Help!!!

    Hi Everybody

Nice to read all those hopeful comments, unfortunately RC1 doesn't run well on my XP nor our Win7 machines, the previous beta was even more stable. :(

Under XP i see program crashes and live tv is sometimes cought in a loop. Sound recovers after about 10 seconds, but video stays freezed. I had many "graph couldn't be started" messages although signal of the dish was ok. Problems on the ts-reader??

Win7 and 1 Vista Client: strange crashes. Client running not very stable.

All Installations are with Technisat Skystart HD2, CoreAVC Pro 1.9 / 2.0 (incl. Haali) and SAF4.00, updated DirectX, .NET and C++-Stuff, PDvd9.
XP-Machine with Eventghost, others with girder.

Logs are all of my (most important) XP machine.

Hope somebody has a clue how to solve my problem... I want to be as happy as you all seem to be!!!!

    :D

chribe, please create proper bugreport threads in the RC1 forums.
    one bug per thread.

this is not the right forum for bugreports.

If it's still gonna take 16-46 days, isn't there an option for a SVN?

    AW: Upcoming 1.1.0 RC2 Release

The RC1 does not run well for me.
However I was able to exchange the core.dll with the one of a previous snapshot and now MP runs quite well.
Hope that those issues are fixed by RC2. Not sure if they are even addresses.
Maybe best would be to compile current SVN and see if things changed.

And how should we fix "your" issues when all the info we get from you is "it does not run well".....

There is a very good reason why we have a bugreport forum for 1.1.0 RC1 and a guideline which explains how to report issues and which info is required.

Ha! i installed RC1 to another win7 client and - tataaa - i suppose the troubles might come from the technisat drivers... The new client has an usb dvb-s tuner and runs well. I'm looking forward to the new digital devices cineS2 tuners (made in germany, they seem to be the answer to my prayers ;-) )

@infinityloop: You're right, a bug report is better, i'll check how to do this when i've plenty of time for it. Bin grad a biserl im Stress, weisst. :sorry:

    Greetings,
    Christian
