Update .NET framework? (1 Viewer)

I migrated the entire MP1 project to .net 4.8 in about 10 minutes and tested fine so not an issue there but as stated by ajs plugins could be an issue ( not tested plugins myself though ).
We should probably move away from 4.0 now anyway as it's no longer supported and vs 2022 is a pain in the ass with .net 4.0 and windows 11

Sorry for being a bit late to answer this thread.

@azzuro the reason for wanting to upgrade is to be able to use this package SpotifyAPI-NET | SpotifyAPI-NET
I think it uses .NET 5.0.

But now I'm trying to develop my plugin from scratch, we'll see how that goes.

If I have the time I would be glad to help you with the upgrade, I might need some help in getting started with that when/if it happens.
