I hadn't upgraded my video card drivers in a while, so i updated from ATI Catalyst Control Center 6.4 to 7.12. After updating i got a little stutter every 5-10 seconds when playing x264/h264 files. Almost like the video drops or skips a couple frames; audio appears unaffected. Everything was working perfectly before the update. I rolled back CCC and reinstalled ffdshow, coreavc, Haali, and vsfilter. Now i still have the same stutter despite reinstalling everything and configuring everything just as before. My CPU usage never goes above 50% when playing these files, and memory usage is around 25%. Graphedit shows everything working as it should - video goes straight to CoreAVC and then VMR. Any ideas as to what may be going on or how i can remedy this would be great. Thanks.

For me a 'downgrade' from Catalyst 7.12 to 7.11 fixed those kind of problems. Maybe it'll help you out also.
