updating movies within mp (1 Viewer)

I've been using Meedio for a couple years and decided to give MP a try. I've really appreciated the stability of the scrappers and MP overall, but I'm hitting a road block. With meedio the libraries were automatically updated within meedio whenever a movie was added. However, it seems like with moving pictures I have to restart MP to reflect the new additions. Is there a way around this?

You are either experiencing a bug or you are mistaken. Moving Pictures monitors your import paths and will add new additions to your collection real time. The only exception is when Moving Pictures is not confident enough in a match to auto approve it. In this situation you have to enter the configuration screen to assign and approve a movie that matches the file. This should be a relatively rare case though.

If Moving Pictures is not auto adding new files for you, this may be a bug, in which case we could take a look at your debug log files. If you think this is a bug the quickest way to get the development team looking at it is by entering a bug report on our issue tracker and attaching your log files there.

Sorry, I wasn't very specific in my post. Moving pictures does automatically add new movies into the database. When I remote into my htpc, I can see the new movies in the configuration utility. However, I they don't "instantly" show up within the moving pictures plugin. I have to restart MP and then return to moving pictures to see the entry. Is that normal?

No, they should show up instantly. This may be a bug in the new 1.0 Beta if that's what you are using. Mind grabbing some logs and filing a bug report?

I am using .75 (if I remember right). I was going to try out the new beta when I get off of work. I'd be happy to grab some logs and file a report if that helps. Thanks for the help. I never expected to get a response this fast!

That is worrisome the issue exists in 0.7.5, that is supposed to be our current stable release. :/ Anyway look forward to your logs.

Just to be sure, the movies automatically show up in the "Movie Manager" tab? If they appear in the second tab (Movie Importer), this means that movingpictures is not sure if it picked the correct movie and awaits your approval.
