Upgrade from 1.12.0 to 1.13.0 - change in skin behaviour (1 Viewer)

I have just upgraded from 1.12.0 to 1.13.0. Under 1.12.0 I was using the DefaultWide skin (1.4.0.0) and when I was focused on a standard menu item, like Videos and TV (and any of the others), the up key makes the navigation buttons become visible allowing MP to be exited quickly from the main menu screen.

Under 1.13.0, using the DefaultWideHD skin, and focused on the Video and TV menus, the Up key doesn't do anything. I realize the when I go to the Root Menu, and then go left, I can exit MP from there.

Is this a deliberate change in behaviour, because I think the old behaviour was very useful?

Also, I notice that Radio is no longer a menu item alongside Videos and TV. Is there a way to configure this skin to display Radio alongside the Videos and TV - not having to go to the Root Menu)?
