USB MCE Remotes and Blackgold BGT3620 (1 Viewer)

Today I bought a USB MCE Remote and had a bit of a kerfuffle getting all the buttons working (buttons like guide, back and record etc didn't work in MP).

I have it working properly now and thought I would post here in case anyone has the same issue.

If you have a Blackgold BGT3620 TV card then you need to disable some items in Device Manager. Blackgold are aware of this as the page I found is on their site: http://shop.blackgold.tv/Support/Pr...enter-Remote-IR-when-BlackGold-card-installed

I followed those steps and now all the buttons on my remote work correctly. Hope this helps someone .

Hi, this just worked for me as well, had the problem after upgrading the drivers.

My issue was a little harder to solve though as I have a case IR receiver, and a usb keyboard and the blackgold IR, and my my is tiny, so unplugging them wasn't an option.

What I did was randomly disable devices in device manager, then switched the view to 'devices by connection'. This then expands the tree to show disabled devices, and you can then see how they're grouped.
