USB Video capture (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I'm running MP 1.1.0.0 on W7x64

Does MP support USB capture devices? (I dont mean USB TV devices, I'm talking about a USB Analogue video device: eg Compro C200 capture device?

If so, how do I get it to work ????? It doesn't seem to appear under the Tuner cards section :-(

Do I have to edit the Capturecarddefinition file?

Hi there,

Someone must use a similar device? What about those people with each TV Tuners/Satellitle/Cable boxes - anyone connect a box to their HTPC via Svideo?

As far as I know its not supported...you have to get a TV-tuner device....and preferably one with a hardware encoder-chip if you use analogue inputs. Search the forums, this question has been asked many times...the answer always being no.
