Use MediaPortal for Live TV only (1 Viewer)

Hi! Are there any skins/mods available that will make MP use the Live-TV plugin only? I'm currently running StreamedMP, which I like for its design being close to a normal set-top box. But I'm using XBMC for all of my media, I'm only using MP+FTR for TV.
How can I deactivate EVERYTHING except Live TV so MP starts faster, and that the menu is as simple as possible, even better, not showing the menu at all, only the Live TV setting.

I've had some problems sometimes, that when I start MP, I've set it to continue last plugin, which means that it continues in fullscreen TV. When I then click ESC, to see the guide, upcoming programs, recordings etc, it goes TWO steps back, to the main menu, and then I have to click enter again on Live TV to get in the Live TV-menu.

Anyways, the best thing for me would be to have the Live-TV plugin as the Home-menu.
Possible?

Hi,

you can use XBMC Eden + pvr (here) , you add the plugin (here) inside the Mediaportal TV server and activate the addon tsreader inside XBMC. So you have the best of boths ;-)

ps: Be careful with the eden RC1 there is a patch to have a good video (a wait a RC2 based build)

There is a plugin that can autostart any mp module, use that to go to the tv screen when starting mp

Yup, but I'm not using MediaPortal's TV-Server. I'm using Argus from ForTheRecord.
They do have a plugin for XBMC now, excluding MP, but I don't think it's stable enough for me yet.

I do not understand the trend that some of users are making here - if you are using XMBC with some other TV services - what is the case to put the solutions in this forum? Cheap marketing? Of course MP is open source and you are welcome to make your opinions , isn't it fine to make your own threads with sharing your experience on other platforms?

Don't worry, in my case, after some years of Mediaportal used, I slowly quit it (and this ugly forum) but never forget that it's perhaps good for you to hear every lines that you made the good choice but if you want be better the opposite opinion is also good to hear ;-)

(And even if you don't like the answers, the question was on Mediaportal)
